INFORMATION

A Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment across corporate, retail, and public sites. The role combines active monitoring and site enforcement with customer service and crisis management.

In this position, officers control site access by checking credentials, monitoring entry points, and conducting regular foot or vehicle patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised entry. They serve as first responders to emergencies, disturbances, and safety hazards, while accurately documenting any security incidents or breaches. Beyond surveillance, security officers enforce facility rules and assist visitors, staff, and clients with a helpful, professional presence.

The training combines engaging theory, practical exercises, and scenario-based learning. You will complete pre-course eLearning modules from home at your own pace, which reduces the time required in the classroom.
